This 7 days’ delightful adventure tour takes you to Jinja City famously known as the adventure Capital of Uganda that harbors the source of World’s Longest River-the “Nile River”, Sipi falls at the edge of Mountain Elgon and Kidepo Valley National Park one of Uganda’s untouched finest birding expedition destination with close to 450 bird species, dominated by scattered thorn bushes, Red acacia, Sausage trees and semi-arid Climate. The boundaries of Kidepo are formed by Mt Morungule a 2,749m high Mountain that can be seen from Miles. You will encounter the IK group of the Karamajong tribe who live in their settlements known as the Manyattas made of mad, grass and dung- thorny fence to keep animals since they are semi-nomadic pastoralists. You will enjoy their Cultural entertainment -edonga dance that will give you a taste of the great African experience and their uniqueness can be seen in different aspects of their ways of life such as dress code, local arts, crafts, jewelry to mention but a few.

This is where the Nile starts its 4000-mile journey to the Mediterranean Sea from Lake Victoria. You will embark on a boat cruise to the Source of the Nile to enable you to see
the place where River Nile starts to separate from the waters of Lake Victoria, the largest Lake in Africa.
En-route, you will have a stopover at Ssezibwa Waterfalls surrounded by bamboo forest and traditional Shrines, the Water falls have a River with a myth attached to it that it was a twin born. This area is also good for birding activities since it connects to Mabira forest reserve, proceed to Mabira for a healthy nature walk and Ziplining with the amazing tales of Ssezibwa falls formation during the 16th century. After a hot cup of Tea in the morning, you will go for hiking from the starting point where you will be briefed and given walking sticks for support during the hike. Sipi falls is a series of three water falls at the edge of Mountain Elgon where hiking to each fall gives you a different unique view of the Karamoja plains, Mountain Elgon and Lake Kyoga. This area is also good for Abseiling.
After Lunch, you will embark on an evening tour to the coffee plantations. Arabica Coffee is the main cash crop grown in this region. You will also be taken through the process from planting to finally having a cup of coffee locally brewed to give you the great taste and heart feeling aroma.

After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on your journey towards the north to the remotest national park in Uganda, Kidepo. This is one of the parks that define Uganda as the Pearl of Africa and ranked by CNN travel as a top tourist destination in 2016 because of its stunning scenery and wildlife.
Also known as “the true African wilderness”, Kidepo valley National Park is home to the fastest land animal in the world-the cheetah including other 77 mammals such as the African buffaloes, elephants, zebra’s antelopes, tree climbing lions, with a close range 450 bird species in one national park.
You will have an enroute lunch and proceed to the park. Arrive very late at dusk at rest.

Wake up early in the morning by the chirping sounds of birds and have your breakfast, immediately after breakfast proceed for an early morning game drive and encounter the seasonal Narus River, expect to meet some of the big five animals Elephants, Lions, Leopards rarely, Buffalos, Zebras, Bush Pigs, Rothschild Giraffes, Eland, Jackson's Hartebeest, Oribi, Spotted Hyena, Black-backed and Side-backed Jackal among others. This is mainly because this valley is the only permanent water source in the entire park, therefore, many animals are drawn here. Birdlife is equally diverse here and if you are lucky, you will spot the endemic Francolin. Also expect to sight the Nubian Giraffes, warthogs, Bat eared foxes, Ostriches and many more. Savannah game drives in this park are often the major attraction as you spot iconic wildlife.
Return to your Lodge for lunch and some brief rest. Proceed to experience the Manyatta Cultural trail and meet Karamojong semi-nomadic pastoralists and agro-pastoral herders that stuck to their ancient way of life - expect a great history from them, music art and drama performed by the IK group. By evening, you will be returned to your Lodge for dinner and overnight

Your 7 days’ tour has come to an end and it is time to return to Kampala/Entebbe. After your breakfast, you will be required to check out of your Lodge and join our guide on a road trip back to Kampala or Entebbe. You will have your lunch en-route before continuing to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for your flight. There is also an alternative of boarding a flight from Kidepo valley National park to Entebbe international airport.
